About this event

Hello Everyone,

We look forward to hosting Jacob Kolar for a demonstration this February.

Jacob will display and discuss some of the different types of forges, with the support from Geoff McIntosh on the discussion of propane forges. Additionally, Jacob will walk through the details of how he built his first brake drum coal forge from reclaimed materials. After the discussion on forge types, Jacob will demonstrate his process for making a scorpion bottle opener.

Please bring something to contribute to the community potluck and a work of art in your signature style or materials to donate for the Iron in the Hat Raffle which follows our demonstration.

We will also be doing our "trade item" for this meeting for members to bring a Barbecue or Cutlery tool of their choice to trade with other members so we can each leave with a different item made by a fellow member.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to us via email.

Thank you, NMABA Board.
